Welcome
Welcome to the Temple Palace of Lord Hanuman
From the dawning of the day to the setting of the sun, we graciously welcome you to this
energised sacred space. Every arch and pillar reverberates with his many names—Hanuman,
Anjaneya, Maruti—each a reminder of the living master who guides us through the great
Game of Life.
Through the Seeds of Time
Over a hundred years ago, South Indian labourers carved a life in Brickfields by clearing jungle,
laying railways, and planting rubber. Their first refuge was a humble hut-temple near the Klang River,
dedicated to Hanuman and Muniswaran, guardian and protector deities.
Years passed. The jungle reclaimed the shrine until a warrior boy and his spirited companions
rediscovered the sacred trident. The statues were restored, the hut rebuilt, and when progress called
for the Kuala Lumpur monorail, the devotees moved their sanctuary to its present home.
The miracle unfolded: brick by brick, over two decades of seva, the People’s Temple took form.
Today the Temple Palace of Lord Hanuman stands in splendour—an echo of 7th and 8th century Indian temple
architecture built through the love, labour, and devotion of the community.

The Temple President Has Something to Say
“It is said every Hindu temple exists as the centre of the universe. At the heart of this phenomenal
world, bhakti is born. Within all its changing forms dwells the unchanging Lord.”
Bhakti blossoms as love, faith, devotion, worship, and purity. It is the spontaneous flow that rises from
one’s being and is nurtured through simple acts of service.
Satsang: gather to serve—sweeping, cooking, helping those in need—each act is bhakti.
Japa: repeat the Lord’s name within the quiet beat of your own heart.
Sankirtan: sing and chant together, letting collective voices carry praise to Hanuman.
Ultimately, bhakti is his gift to us. Lord Hanuman stands ready to bless, guide, and protect; all we need
do is welcome him in.
See Him, Feel Him, Be Touched by Him
Lord Hanuman’s stories of unwavering devotion span Asia: saving Sita, guiding Rama, and inspiring seekers
from India to Vietnam. Even modern leaders carry his image for strength. To countless devotees he is the
guardian, the guru, the friend who answers when called.
The light, the light!
Knowledge. Wisdom. Enlightenment. Let his radiance reveal the path.
Carved in Devotion
Every pillar and beam bears testimony to artisans who sculpted love into stone.
Across the World
From Kuala Lumpur to Vietnam and beyond, Hanuman unites hearts in courage and faith.
