Dear belovered devotees,
For your kindly information, for 2014, the month of Aadi will starts on 17/07/2014 (Thursday) and will ends up on 17/08/2014 (Sunday). a special prayers followed by a Saivaite formalities performing to the most belovered Lord Sri Maha Mariamman in our temple of Lord Sri Veera Hanuman will be held during the month of Aadi. These prayers will be held every Tuesdays and Fridays during this month in our temple of Lord Sri veera Hanuman. According to the Hindhu religious belief, by doing the special prayers to Lord Sri Maha Mariamman during the month of Aadi (especially every Tuesdays and Fridays), most of difficulties which manacles our life will be solved. For example, by doing these prayers, marriage which is keep on delay will be engaged as soon as possible. On the other hand, problems among family will be settled and all the family members might be get united. A part from that, by doing all these special prayers on tuesdays and Fridays, There is a great opportunity in order to get relief from the financial problems in your family. Besides that, these prayers is the great advantage for girls/woman. Yes, their marriage will be fixed and it may be the great chance for great “tirumangalya baagyam” for them. It means there might be very less of problems in their marriage arrangements and their marriage life will be full of happiness.
According to the Hindhu religious belief, our belovered Lord Maha Letchumi had been reincarnated in this world in the month of Aadi and the reincarnation falls in the stars of “aadipuram”. These particular prayers and Saivaite formalities will be conducting on 4 Tuesdays and 5 Fridays in the month of Aadi.

Glosary
Aadi: the forth month of Hindhu calendar. Aadi is a month of fervour and observances in Godess related to Water-forces and Natural forces (Lord Sri Mariaamman). During this month, prayers and pujas are offered to propitiate the powerful goddesses and seek their protection from the inauspicious aspects that are often associated with the month.
Aadi pooram: the 10th
Lord Sri Maha Letchumi in this world.
Thirumangalyam: also known as “thaali” in Tamil and mangala sutra in sanscrit. Thaali/ thirumangalyam is a holy and auspicious thread used in our Hindhu wedding. It is a sacred necklace that a Hindu groom ties around the bride's neck in the wedding. Thirumangalyam/thaali is an identification sign for a married woman. The woman continues to wear the Thaali as a sign of her marital status.
Abishegam: Saivaite formalities followed by a special prayers.
Aadiperukku: is a Tamil festival celebrated on the 18th day of the Tamil month of Aadi which falls in the mid July to mid August. In 2014, it is on 03/08/2014. The festival pays tribute to water’s life sustaining properties and prayers to Lord Sri Maha Mariamman in order to get the pure blessings with peace, prosperity and happiness.
Thirumangalya baagyam: chances to get married and their thirumangalyam (thaali) will be strong (all the problems face by the woman and her husband will be settled and the relationship will stay forever peacefully).
